After complete removal of asbestos from the facades, the Loiret Tower was reorganized into a student residence. The tower is transformed with direct access from the urban slab that did not exist when it was built in 1970. The type of plot, closed to SNCF tracks, has been redesigned with housing very open to the city, around a central circulation core redesigned with natural lighting, with distant views.
The roof top is a shared garden, protected from the wind by a stretched canvas, a backlit night beacon. A chromatic work on the partitions and ceilings installs a gradient that links the gaze between the sky and the earth, a new colorful presence in the district.
