The image of the New Gateway is an evocation of iron ore and its states of transformation, which has strongly shaped the history and identity of the Fensch Valley. From the Forge to the steelworks, from the crucible to the metal, here it is about the energy of men and the product of their inextricably linked efforts.
The volume of the new room is an extension of the existing one, wedged between the service road of the car parks and the pedestrian diagonal of the park which becomes the link between the Harvest and the Gateway.
The Hall and administration open up to display towards the city center. The transparency of the facade projects the reception and conviviality spaces towards the new public square which connects the whole to the Avenue de Lorraine. The interior spaces are deployed in support of volumes with broken lines that unfold freely from the hall and condense or expand the spaces around the areas of flows and accesses.
