The village of Pont l’Evêque is marked by strong physical limits: the Oise, the northern canal, the Paris-Brussels railway and an unbuildable marsh area.
The urban project proposes to create in three differentiated sites (Quartier de l’Eglise, 36 mixed wood / brick housing – Quai des Bateliers, 22 housing units making a crossing street – Select Bar, 12 townhouses make the transition from the center café of the village and recent extensions), transitions built between these typologies to establish a coherence of the urban landscape within the limits of the village.
The resulting effect is the creation of new pedestrian axes, the reintegration of the very eccentric church in the village and the disappearance of the continuity solutions of the fabric. Restructuring of the village of Pont l’Evêque by consolidation, takeover of the POS and construction of 70 housing units in three strategic sites for the rehabilitation of the urban fabric with the opening up and the writing of new urban limits.
