Designed by a workshopping process, this building project contributes to the urban planning programme of the SEMAVIP. It comprises a large office block on the P\u00e9riph\u00e9rique side, and various mixed and residential plots, combining businesses, retail, social housing and starter homes on the same site. This plot is very deep (28 m); to achieve the aim of high density usage, the layout has been designed to have substantial recesses, to prevent the blocks from seeming monolithic. As a result, new and varied views are created, and the microclimate is improved, such that the site can be certified for Habitat and Environment and also Very High Energy Efficiency.
